UGI Low Income Usage Reduction Program

UGI has a program aimed at helping eligible customers decrease their gas bills and make their homes more comfortable.

The UGI Low Income Usage Reduction Program provides inspections and energy saving improvements to homes. The improvements typically include things like insulation, door weather-stripping and sealing of leaks that allow cold air into the home. These services are provided at no cost to eligible customers.

CACLV administers the program in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. CACLV is responsible to document and determine eligibility. If your income is below 150% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines (FPIG) level, or if you received LIHEAP benefits during the last 6 months, you may be eligible. (In rare instances customers with incomes below 200% of the FPIG may be eligible.)

An Energy Auditor will visit your home to discuss ways of saving on your UGI gas bills. He will also inspect your home to see if any energy saving improvements can be made under the program.

If you are a UGI customer and would like to participate, please contact us. Call 484.893.1100 for further information.

*A percentage of customers who have extenuating circumstances may be accepted at 200% of FPIG
